Awards of Excellence 2010

The Awards of Excellence will now be held annually. This year the awards presentation was held at Astral One and Two, Burswood on July 2, 2010. For the list of categories and winners click on links below. Photos will be uploaded in due course.

The Awards of Excellence 2010 presented awards categories for all members; designers, contractors, suppliers, trainees, apprentices, and students. There are 22 categories. This included new categories like:

  • Best New Member, whereby a new member who joined since July 1, 2007 will automatically qualify for entry;
  • Best Product;
  • Best Trainee/Apprentice;
  • Best Student (Designer);
  • Best Student (Landscape Construction).

The designer and contractor categories were also revamped to align the awards to the national level categories so as to enable our state winners to qualify for the national awards.

Results of finalists and winners will be released soon.

Winners for residential categories was published in Habitat section of July 9, 2010. The listing of winners for commercial categories will be in the next Architect and Builders edition. There are more publicity planned through Scoop Publishing, Universal Magazines, and Builder's Choice in future editions.

Our trade magazine, shape Spring/Summer edition for September will display more photos from our winners, and outline the guidelines for Awards 2011.
